Along the Highway
Pacific Valley Information Station
Pacific Valley can be an amazing surprise to the southbound driver who has been winding along Highway 1, through curve after curve, for several miles with few ocean views. The highway descends, curves to the left, and a vista of Pacific Valley's open pastureland cut by deep clefts suddenly comes into view. At sunset there may be cotton-candy clouds hanging on the hillsides.
