Diesel Fuel in Big Sur
There is no diesel fuel available along the entire Big Sur coastline. North of the Big Sur region, you can obtain diesel fuel on the Monterey peninsula (in the cities of Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Carmel-by-the-Sea). South of the Big Sur region, you can obtain diesel fuel in Cambria, 7 miles (11 km) south of the Hearst Castle turnoff.
